Welcome to the website for Troop 306, located in Catonsville, MD!  

Troop 306 was founded in 1911 and is part of the Arrowhead District of the Baltimore Area Council.  We have been sponsored by Catonsville Presbyterian Church since 1923. 

The troop meets on Thursday evenings at 7:30PM
and consists of five patrols:  the Flaming Marshmallows, the Narwhals, the Thunder Beasts, the Mighty Mushrooms and a Leaders patrol.  Troop 306 emphasizes a boy-run program devoted to advancement instruction, activity planning,
community service and team-building.

Troop 306 has an extremely active year-round camping schedule, including weekend camping from September through June, and a week-long summer camp, traditionally in July.  

Some of our recent activities include Summer camp at Heritage Scout Reservation, Camping and Service work at Conowingo, Bike trip on the C&O Canal, Hiking on the Appalachian Trail, Snow camping, Wilderness survival/Shelter building.
